If you want to download only a few of your files to your local storage system, you can use the ‘Direct Download’ option.

  • Step 1: Login to Google Drive.
  • Step 2: Click on the file that you want to download or press ‘ctrl + A’ if you want to download your entire Drive files.
  • Step 3: Click on the vertical ellipsis option at the top right corner, and select ‘Download’.

  • Step 4:  All your selected Drive files will be downloaded as a zip file. You can find these files in the ‘Downloads’ folder on your local system.

How to Download Entire Google Drive?

You can download your entire Drive files using:

  • Option 1: Using Backup & Sync
  • Option 2: Using Google Takeout
  • Option 3: Using SysCloud

Option 1: How to Download Files From Google Drive Using Backup & Sync?

Option 3: How to Download Files From Google Drive Using SysCloud?

  • Step 7: You can check the status of your download process in the Export Report page. The download process will take a few minutes to complete depending on the number of files that need to be transferred.
